Welcome!

I hope you are all looking forward to your journey through 23 Things for Web 2.0. I am thrilled to have you join me on this exciting learning adventure! Over a period of 14 or so weeks, you will complete 23 Things to become familiar with a variety of Web 2.0 tools. Everything you need is available here so that you can work on your own time, at your own pace.

The 23 Things is based on The Learning 2.0 program originally designed by Helene Blowers, Technology Director, Public Library of Charlotte & Mecklenburg County, and has been modified for LMS. The original program is loosely based upon Stephen Abram’s article, 43 Things I (or You) might want to do this year (Information Outlook - Feb 2006) and the website 43Things. Feel free to check it out if curiosity gets the better of you!

Using the links on the right, go to Thing 1 when you are ready to get started. Go in order because you will be building on prior knowledge. Allow yourself 30 minutes to an hour to comeplete each Thing. We will be monitoring your progress by reading your blog entries regularly. Remember, help is just an email away. Contact your "monitor" with any questions you may have along the way. But don't forget that you aren't alone in the process- many of your co-workers will be doing this along with you, and you can always take a group approach to these tasks!
Good luck!
